UK Shopping Delivered Overseas
This site exists to help those living overseas find their favourite UK stores online who deliver to International addresses without having to spend hours searching for delivery terms. We are also here to help friends & family living in the UK but wishing to send gifts or shopping out to their nearest & dearest living overseas.
As UK shoppers who spend a lot of time overseas we regularly support our local producers & enjoy the excellent local markets, wherever we are. However embracing the goodies from our community does not mean we have to forget all that we love about UK shopping. After all the British are known for shopping being an important pastime!
High Quality Goods Overseas for UK Prices
In some countries we have found it can be difficult to find local equivalents to the high quality goods we enjoy in the UK, or if they do exist, they are often not at what we consider to be reasonable or equivalent to UK prices. In addition favourable VAT rules on certain items may be more beneficial to purchase from the UK than overseas (e.g. books or children’s clothing) and currently the UK VAT rate is reduced at only 17.5% Which is lower than most European countries who can charge up to 25%
Sharing our experience of UK Stores delivering Overseas
Over the past few years, we have spent a lot of time researching UK companies to understand their international delivery policies and having spoken to friends & family we thought it would be useful to share this information with you in a simple site which saves you the time & effort of rooting around various websites trying to work out if the company delivers to your country, for what cost & whether there are any delivery constraints e.g. maximum weight restrictions.
The great thing is when we tried the shops on our site we found that often stores quote generous delivery times but we have found that delivery has been quicker than estimated & from order to door from one store in a record time of 2 days! We would have been pleased with that service even if we were located in the UK.
Continually searching out UK stores delivering Overseas
We will continue to search out & try good quality UK shops and add these to our site so that you can benefit from our experiences, but we would also be interested to hear from you of UK stores delivering internationally from which you have had excellent service (or not!) so we can give them a try & if they meet the grade then we can add them to this site.
There are many sites out there which can give you list after list of UK shops but they add little value. We don’t want to be such a site, we want to be different, and we want to add value by saving you time, effort and where we can...even money. We will do our best to regularly check & update the site with any changes to the delivery terms & conditions of the suppliers as well as continually searching & trying out the international delivery for other UK stores.
